ok so when we were apart we talked every day but only for like 20-30 mins. most of our time was spent together in England though so I have no crazy ideas to share.

real letters.. not just emails

I write Julia once a week.. the wonderful US and German postal system... makes it so random, some times it takes 3 days, sometimes it takes a whole week

He always picks out extra nice stamps for me - right now we are going through a series of marvel comic stamps - they are awesome.

But we are in touch all day: Every morning when I get up, I have an email from him...then once at work, I email him...then he wakes up, sends me a txt or an email...then sometimes calls me on the way to work...then we email back and forth all day, if we have time...when I get home in the evenings, we msn...sometimes, if not too late, we talk on the phone before I go to bed. On the weekends, if we are both at home, we leave the computer running all day and use yahoo voice chat. It works fine!

and she sends me awesome postcards with lovely things written on the back and delicious german chocolate
