Do you have a webcam? I'm sure you do...

Make the same meal and eat together.

Rent the same movie and watch it together.

Play an online game together.

Talk about your apartment or house that you will live in, how would you decorate it? Shop online picking out furniture and other things that you like together.

Plan a trip in the future and decide where you want to go and what you want to do, research it online.

:) I love our long distance relationship, I got to know Nick so well just by the hours and hours of talking to one another about everything under the sun.

Enjoy it and have fun!!! ;)

We text each other A LOT!!! I mean all day long sometimes. We are each sharing part of the others day. She has been here and I have been there, so we can do some visualizing too as we go through the day.

Make the same meal and eat together.

That is such a sweet idea. I am going to have to talk to my fiance about that.

I agree, playing games together, as well as watching a movie at the same time and talking about our future life together are definitely things that the two of us do. :)

He also calls me while on his way to work from time to time, or we'll just talk on the phone/voice chat program. My fiance likes to draw, so he'll sometimes surprise me with drawing he made for me - In return, I'll try to do something nice to surprise him [Like.. sing a song, or write something for him]. We've exchanged letters outside of birthdays/anniversaries, however.. that is something we usually keep for those events, in addition to a gift, usually with some sort of sweet sentiment to it. For example.. for our second anniversary, I compiled all the pictures that I had of us together and put them in a really nice photoalbum to send to him. :)

..I once even sent him his favorite cookies, shaped into hearts. :P He seemed to really like them, though, so I guess it wasn't a terrible idea. :P

The only doom that's looming is you loving me to death,

So I'll give you a sec to catch your breath.

My husband was in Pakistan when we first started talking. He then went to UK . In Pakistan we used web cam every day. But in Uk he got a calling card that had free minutes from 6pm to 6am. We talked alot .. every day for hours.

Another thing is to take pics thru ur day and send them. Also leaving offline messages is always nice. If you want I can ask him the name of the card he got. Its great because we talked so much for free.

I agree about talking as much as possible. Every time I speak to my fiance' I feel like my emotional battery is recharged somehow. I called today right after she woke up and burned up some serious minutes. All worth it. Try calling each other at different times, it is an awesome surprise.

Really cool that you are thinking about this, by the way.

Michael and I have never used webcams, but we talk on MSN every day - we actually have regular 'meetings' when he wakes up at about 6 EST (midday here in Continental Europe), and we spend most of the day together on weekends. The six-hour difference is not easy to manage, especially since I go to bed early and get up equally early in the morning, but now we've getting used to it. We used to talk a lot on the phone last year, but we had to stop due to financial problems, and also to the time difference. However, we text back and forth regularly during the day, and we also email each other every night on weekdays, relating the other about how our day went.

Unfortunately, this past year or so we have seen each other very rarely (three weeks over the Xmas holidays, ten days in the spring, and now he's coming for two weeks), but we still feel very close to each other. One special thing I love doing for him is sending him handmade cards (cardmaking is one of my hobbies, and I've become quite good at it). Now he's got quite a few of them, and loves each of them to death!

I agree that playing an online game is a great way. That's how I met my fiance we both play, World of Warcraft. You pay a monthly fee, but's it worth it. The game has a ingame chat so you can talk to each other, chat so you typing constantly and you level your characters together. That is how we come to love each other. He joined my guild and we started leveling characters together and one day we both realized we loved each other.

You can leave mail for each other and it's great to see you have mail from your honey bunny. :P The hours you spend talking can do wonders for your relationship. I've never talked to anyone as much as I do/have him. The game was well worth what I pay for it each month.

Pick up the phone in the middle of the night and tell him that not only do you think about him constantly but that you dream about him too..

Send him a hilarious ecard with sound..

Call one of his mates at work and tell them to tell him that you love him :) (I always do that)!!
