People get offended on this forum for much less...Her line of questioning was VERY inappropriate. The OP SHOULD NOT have to explain her own business . She posed a simple question and was met with a grimy question in response that was compounded by unnecessary suggestions that she did not ask for.

What is this really about? That is the question that should be asked here. Because this is deeper than "I'm just wondering" or I'm just trying to help you out" These responses were attacking in nature and it is evident in the way that these questions were posed.

Cutting and pasting old posts to make a case for something that most people were not even aware of??? Crucify her Why don't you...what the heck you already have her on the stand. All that detective work took a lot of time an energy.... this is because........? Hmmmm.....

No matter how much that line of questioning is defended, it is inappropriate and malicious. Most of us who read that post I'm sure was like "Oh Damn!".... mouth agape and all....

I really think that some folks come online to post because they are feeling upset about something else and want to anonymously berate someone simply to feel better about themselves. For that, I truly feel sorry them.

Realize, the internet is just one persons computer hooked up to another persons computer. There is no magic brick wall shielding us. Words are conduits to emotions. That is why journalists are killed for what they speak. Words have overthrown governments, caused genocide and at the very least,..broken up friendships.

I didn't come on here to cause some sort of upheaval. I posted a question.

Now look what this has become.

For the few people who keep posting about the "right" to speak their mind. Do that. By all means.

But while your doing that, let me come on out and talk about your marriage. Let me get out a notebook and question when you had your last pap smear. Or better yet, let's put some weight to what goes on in your personal life and broadcast it for the masses.

Honestly TBT ask a question that some others where probably wondering themselves. Some people might of not liked the question. We all have different personality and different ways of going about things. Some more direct than others.

The thing is that Leedah answered the question ( she was the only one the question was asked of ) She also stated how she felt about the question. I hope that we can all be satisfied with that.

Omoha reply was just trying to be helpful because she didn't want any issues with Dakar. I personally will be going thru Dakar and anyone sees me heading for a potential pot hole ....please holler.

TBT... You are funny at times and sometimes out right gross .... No one can take your sense of humor away from you. No one is trying to take away your voice or to necessarily censor you, but how you reacted to the OP was not respectful of her and her personal business.

Just to explain to you why people are making assumptions about you NOT being new around here and your intentions:

1. No one knows anything about you. You don't have a signature, a story, a time line, etc.... You don't talk about your SO

2. You only joined VJ a month ago today any you are great at maneuvering the system (might need to PM you for pointers )

3. You only joined VJ a month ago today any you are aware about ancient posts and seem very familiar with the stories and backgrounds of everyone else here, for a newbie.

4. You only joined VJ a month ago today any you are VERY comfortable with being an instigator (although funny at times... you know the whole thing...classic!) and confrontational

5. The name "Truth Be Told"...Hmmmmm.... Do you have something on your chest that you want to say, that you couldn't say under a different name? --This is what people are thinking...

These are just a few of the more obvious reasons why people assume you are not new around here and question your true intentions. If those assumptions are wrong...its very unfortunate and I apologize for how you might feel as a result.

On the boards, a troll is a person who isn't really a member interested in the services or mission of the boards, but rathers cruises through to cause trouble. They usually aren't even on an immigration journey, they just find it amusing somehow to come on the board and joke around and even mock other people. They are called trolls.

I'm not sure if you knew that or not, in terms of the use of the word here. I guess other message boards use it also, but I don't participate in many message boards, so I learned it here.
