YEAH, ME TOO. ANXIETY, WEIRD DREAMS, ALL OF THE WHAT IF SCENARIOS.

HAVING ALOT OF TROUBLE SLEEPING. AFTER GOING TO SLEEP, WAKING SEVERAL TIMES EVERY NIGHT. WORRYING THAT WE WILL BE DELAYED FOR WEEKS DUE TO DOCUMENT VERIFICATION. UNABLE TO ACCEPT THE THINGS THAT ARE BEYOND OUR CONTROL.

ALL OF THAT COMBINED WITH ADD/AHD AND OCD, WITH SEVERE BOUTS OF DEPRESSION.

HAVE BEEN OFF ALL MEDS. FOR ONE YEAR. HOWEVER, I HAVE AN APPOINTMENT NEXT WEEK, WILL BE GOING BACK ON THE MEDS. HOPING FOR SHORT TERM, BUT I CAN'T SAY FOR SURE.

THIS PROSCESS WILL SUCK THE LIFE OUT OF YOU! THE WAITING WITHOUT KNOWING FOR HOW LONG, HAS BECOME UNBEARABLE. EIGHT MONTHS AT USCIS, THREE MONTHS AT NVC, A MONTH AND A HALF TO GET AN INTERVIEW. THEN AFTER ALL OF THAT, THE CHANCE OF BEING PUT ON A.P. FOR UNDERTERMINED AMOUNT OF TIME FOR DOCUMENT VERIFICATION.

FREAKING OUT A BIT, MAYBE ALOT

At this point, anxiety is completely normal, and you are fine Jen. He will be happy here because YOU are here, and you are together. Are you feeling better today? I hope so.

Oh man do I remember freaking out before Joel got here! I had hoped to at least be OUT of the crappy house I was renting - good thing that didn't work out...we are BOTH on the mortgage now which is good for ROC proof. I worried that he wouldn't settle...it's one thing to visit, another thing to actually LIVE here, yanno? So yeah, I worried about that. I was worried about what he would do once school started back...he was gonna be here by himself with no car. I knew my daughter absolutely adored him but you know, once here full time and stepping into the role of stepdad, I worried how that would go. It's been fine and she's adjusted so well...even to the point of calling him "Daddy". I worried how he would feel with not working AND how our finances would be while it was just me working. Oh man, the things I stressed out over and the amount of sleep I lost. Whew! For me, the least stressful thing was the wedding. I think the one thing that really tested the waters for us was the week I was in hospital for a really severe asthma attack...he was at home without me, being both mom and dad to Anna with me stuck in a bed at the hospital. We survived that and I figure if we can survive that we can pretty much take on anything else.

We just celebrated two years this past week. :D

Y'know Jen, it will work itself out, all these things that stress you. I do, however, understand what you're feeling very well indeed. Can't wait to hear how things are a few weeks after P is here and everything settles. (F)

Jeremy was worried because we had just started to rent this place, it had no furniture, not even a bed yet he wanted to impress me with my new "home" - it was really tough for him because I have come from a comfortable background (with furniture :P ) and have pretty high standards so he was terrified that he was going to disappoint me :)

Things have been great though - we have our ups and downs, we have a bed(!) and sure, some other furniture would be great too but we just can't afford it right now so we are taking things one step at a time.

I am sure you are completely normal - I know I was totally freaking as the non-USC but it is a big change for both parties :) Just remember to enjoy it as well :)

I don't know of a single person I've ever talked to on here who didn't at least have doubts. Freaking out has happened from time to time. It's normal.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

Oh, wow. I feel you with the no furniture... we have a bed, but my clothes are all in a pile on the floor because we have no bureau yet. Apartment is kind of a disaster, but will get better.

I hope. :-)
