Hello All

:help: My wife sent her Packet 3 to the Embassy which was signed for on May 5th But when she calls to check on it they say it's not on the system as of yet. Does anyone know how long it usually takes from the time the packet it received until it is put in the system?? :whistle:

Normaly around 3 weeks!!

April/04/2005- Visa journey began!!

We did both K3 & CR1 visa's, got both!!- I returned to England for my CR1 interview after first arriving on a K3 visa!!

May/25th 2006- Green card arrives in the mail................YAY!!

19th June 2006 I Had to go to the Social Security Office to get my number, the DS-230 didnt work for me!!

26-June-2006- Social Security# arrived in the mail....YAY!!

Feb 2008 lift conditions <<<reminder to self!!<<<< went to England for a visit instead, no rush right, 90 days is a long time,LOL

Removing Conditions Begins

Mailed I-751 April 12th 2008

signed for @ NSC April 16th

NOA date April 16th

Conditional GC expired May 5th 2008

Biometrics Detroit May 10th 2008

10 year Green card ordered August 20th 2008

Citizenship any time from feb 2009

we're working on roughly the same time frame.... i sent packet 3 on the 8th and it was recieved on the 9th ... so i wish you (and indeed myself) and speefy proccessing time so we get our interview dates!!

K-1 Process:

I-129F sent - 20th Jan 2006

NOA2 - 18th April 2006 (APPROVED: 87th day!)

Packet 3 received - 5th May 2006

Packet 4 - 19th May 2006

Medical - 23rd May 2006

Interview - 9th June 2006 (APPROVED: 139th day!)

Married on August 10th 2006

AOS Process:

AOS/EAD sent - 13th September 2006

RFE on AOS - 22nd September 2006

Biometrics - 5th October 2006 (22nd day)

RFE Sent Back - October 28th 2006

Transfered to CSC - November 15th 2006 (63rd day)

EAD Approved - December 11th 2006 (90th day)

AOS APPROVED!! - December 14th 2006 (93rd day)

Okay that seems logical Thanks a bunch

yea ours took about 2-2 1/2 weeks. london is fast. be happy. we are one of the lucky few. :)

But mine is a K-3 whereas yours is a K-1 Does that Matter?
