Hi,

My visa was approved and my husband and I are thinking of going back to the US next month for a visit (we both work in Asia at the moment, but will only be here for a few more months until finally fully residing in the US). We're not sure what we're supposed to do upon entry in the US. If anyone could help us out, it'd be much appreciated!!

Specifically, we're not sure:

1) What to do upon arrival in the US

2) Where to go

3) What else to bring besides the Immigrant Data Summary package

4) What forms we need to fill in, if any

Thanks in advance for your help!

1) Follow the crowd... All passengers are processed at immigration regardless of ststus

2) Follow the crowd

3) Your personal belongings that you want to have with you would be good. Passport & MBE package is all you will need for immigration

4) No added forms except customs declaration provided to you inflight... You do NOT need to fill out an I-94 on the aircraft despite what a flight attendant might say.

YMMV

Thanks for the useful information, fwaguy :)

I will fill in my timeline, everyone thanks. I work 16 hours a day, so while I wholeheartedly appreciate the help I've received in the forums, I hope you would all be patient enough to let me fill in my timeline when I'm not working 16 hours a day. When I do get a day off, I have to take care of the things I was not able to in the 8-hour time span I have left to sleep, eat, and have a life. I hope the people who keep reminding me to fill in my timeline (I read it once already, I haven't forgotten and reminding me something I already know and remember doesn't help much... ) will understand that there are currently more important things I HAVE to deal with other than look through all my US visa documents to find the right dates my husband and I had to go through with the US visa filing.

For what it's worth - Filed my visa sometime in September/October - went to the interview on Mar 26. Was approved then and there after a LOT of questions for me, rather than my husband.

Thank you.
