Congrats on your approval and on your future marriage!

Now as to your question about airfare, I have always used Airlineconsolidater.com but someone in my family swears by Priceline.com where you can name your own price. I have used Priceline for hotels here in the States and usually can get one for half off of the room rate and a few times a tad bit more. However comparing room rates with airfare is like comparing apples to oranges and I have never personally tried to use them for airfare. But give them both a try and see what you can come up with. Take care

First Congradulations :dance::dance::dance:

I like Kayak.com It seems to do better than orbitz. Try also calling a couple of the airlines. Delta has given me much lower one way prices directly than any of the low price sites.

I like kayak.com also and expedia.com

You can also check with travel agencies, sometimes they get discount bundles. When I went to Dakar, a travel agency in NY was recommended to me

( I live in another state ) and this guy had the cheapest prices. So you never know, just shop around and compare.

Wishing you a happy reunion !

Congrats on your visa.

If you are booking online, I usually use vayama for international travel. They have great deals and compare to other sites like kayak, priceline, expedia, etc. So you can choose the cheapest from all the sites listed. I've been happy with their service as well, they respond quickly and answer any questions professionally. A better idea is to get prices online though vayama and then go directly to the airline office in Lagos to book the ticket. Sometimes the prices is a little lower.

You'll have to transfer flights, as there won't be a direct flight to detroit, so make sure you leave several hours for processing through immigration. It took us 3 hours through JFK and many many people missed connecting flights while waiting to get through. So make sure your connecting flight is at least 3 hours away to give yourself a cushion.

Good Luck and Enjoy your trip!!
