Steve - are you talking about the one in the Howard Hughes center? The movie theater at the Grove doesn't have booze. They do sell about every form of candy known to man, however.

I found it....The Bridge - Cinema de lux. Our company took us there for the opening of Transformers. Very plush. I think you'd like it. :)

12 LOUNGE

Imagine starting your evening by sipping a martini at 12 Lounge before catching the latest new release. Or maybe you prefer to recount your favorite movie moments in a relaxing atmosphere right after the film. 12 Lounge offers a full range of appetizers, pizzas, sandwiches, salads, wraps and a complete service bar. 12 Lounge bar and restaurant provides indoor and outdoor café seating.

In addition to 12 Lounge, The Bridge features The Coffee Bar with cappuccino, espresso, or other specialty drinks. Classic concessions that patrons have come to consider essential for a trip to the movies including popcorn packaged sweets and Pepsi products are also available.

Hey, we have one of those in Philly. I though it was the only one.....interesting

I have never bought a soft drink at a theater, I've always had it in my purse. Not sure about in the States, but in Brazil if you buy 1 coke for let's say 0.75, you'll pay 2.00 at the theater, and I ain't made of money. The same if I want to eat something.

well at some of the theaters I have been too they check your purse to see if you have brought anything in....

nobody is checking my purse unless they're the police

Damn straight!

IF its really soft drink...

I say it's fine. Can anyone tell me why it costs so much to buy at their stands? I never understood.

It's expensive cause u also get a refill on it. As much as u want, but how much pop corn can u eat or how much soda can u drink? I use to go watch movies in my high school days. I use to take stuff like cheetos and coke litter bottle in my bag pack. On the other hand they never cared about me, cause I worked for a company who would give me assignments like go watch a movie and make sure no one capture it on camera. I use to get all the equipments to see in dark from the screening comapny. It was awesome more like watching live XES action in theatres without people knowing. lolz
