I have never bought a soft drink at a theater, I've always had it in my purse. Not sure about in the States, but in Brazil if you buy 1 coke for let's say 0.75, you'll pay 2.00 at the theater, and I ain't made of money. The same if I want to eat something.

I do know its about making money - but seriously? Its way too much, and if it was reasonable - people would not attempt to bring their own in! Doesnt make any sense to me.

I never buy anything at the theater because it's all heart attack food. I always bring a bottle of water with me because they only have Dasani or Aquafina which I think is disgusting.

:lol: I'm not 18 anymore.

I understand the profit part, but a 20-oz drink costs $4. I just can't see that. We don't bring food in. We've carried drinks in a couple of times, once in my purse and once in the open. Last night the person with us was surprised when hubby had a canned drink and said we'd get thrown out if we got caught.
