do we need to make a copy each of the ds-230 and i-864 docus for the nvc and consulate?

hi there everyone! i've been seeing a lot of ds-230 and i-864 queries being posted lately. here's another one.. my husband and i are currently preparing our ds-230 and i-864 documents. i'm just wondering whether we need to produce two different copies for nvc and the consulate for the interview later. ..

NVC will forward whatever you submit to the consulate. You do not need to have another set for the interview. However, I would make a copy of everything, just in case NVC lost any of them.

And I would suggest, not just copies of the forms. You should print extras and have original signatures, just in case.

I had an RFE on my AOS. They said they could not determine that my signature was original. Which it was. So I had to send in another. This time signing in blue ink. If this was something that my wife needed to sign, it would have slowed things down alot. So I would suggest, especially if it is something that your SO needs to sign, have original copies. Also, something else I did was to have my wife sign a blank copy of the DS-230. Just in case there was some issue with the information. I could fill the rest out and it was already signed.
