How many people on Visa Journey are waiting for their K-1 from Cairo?

I was curious how many people on here are still waiting for their K-1 Visa from Cairo?

and how long have that been waiting?

I think Sue and Ahmed have been waiting a REALLY long time.

Just thought we all could send our prayers their way for support because I know how that waiting feels.

I think there are a lot more than 3. I've got like 12 listed on the Cheerleading thread who are still waiting on Cairo to issue their visas (this includes K-3s and CR-1s, though.) Some of these have not been active in a while and haven't updated us, but others are very much still around, and still waiting

Hope everyone gets the call to come pick up your visa very soon !

The Forum Interview Cheerleading Thread Vol. 2, All those waiting for interviews/results

I tried taking you to the forum, but am not sure how to do it. I put cheerleading thread in a forum search, and looked it up. Wife of Mahmoud keeps up with all the people in processing, and with visa's issued. I only posted the two I talk to and know for sure are still going through AP.

Hello Lynn...............so happy for your news. We have been on "PENDING NAME CHECKS" since MArch 3, 2008. We are so frustrated with this waiting. We are basing our timeline on how yours has gone(similar to ours).....so maybe soon? Only God knows. DOS keeps saying pending....things look good, keep checking. Cairo says same answer---pending AP. Anyway , we have not been on here alot, is just depressing sometimes. But still keeping faith and hope. Good luck to Ahmed and you in your life.

I thought that there were people on here that were waiting since their interviews besides three but I wasn't sure!!

Since Ahmed's waiting after the interview was about 4 months, hopefully yours will be only a little longer. If it goes on too long,

then please contact your congressperson.............we did and I think it might have helped a little.

Just my gut feeling..........anyway, it couldn't hurt.

Ahmed arrives in less than 48 hours.............through JFK. He's never flown before and is really nervous.

I am picking him up at the airport after I get off work at 1230am. Keep your fingers crossed that

everything goes smoothly.

We are both really excited and are still in shock that it is actually happening after more than a year

of waiting from application submission to visa issuance!!!

My thoughts and prayers to everyone waiting!!
