Jackie I just read about your quitting. I hope things look up for you and I think what they did to you is just horrible!!!

Kelly both my hair and the babies' hair fell out right around the point that you're at so not to worry. Emily was actually blonde with blue eyes for her first two months and now at 12 she's dark brown hair with big huge dark brown eyes. Megan was pretty much the same though her hair now is dark blonde instead. The shocker for me wasn't so much the baby hair falling out but MY hair!!!!!! I was pregnant for like two years straight so my hair never fell out after Emily since I got pregnant right away with Megan and there was a LOT of hair in the shower!

Miriam that sounds like such an awesome vacation!!!! I can't wait to take Usama to Disney!!!

I got a call last night from my brother in law telling me to please drop my husband off at 1pm and pick him up at 4pm. He's having 30 of his closest buddies over to drink, eat, play bacci ball, watch sports and do whatever the heck else grown men do on a Friday. He's really takin a shine to my husband and is determined to make him into a baseball-lovin' grill-cookin' burpin' fartin' drinkin' American man. lol.

lol bridget, sounds like what my 3 brothers did to sofyan...I always tell them that they "tainted" my hubby! Fine by my though, he is much more laid back and finally knows how to have a good time..

lol Meriem to your friend...i knwo that most babies (specially ones born with dark hair) almost always lose it...i was expecting it, yet, was hoping it wouldnt happen...it looks so funny right now cause its coming out in patches..i kinda just wish the rest would fall out. i was combing baby oil into it (for the cradle cap) and there it was..all his little black hairs on the comb..no more Faux Hawks for zaid!!

i REALLY dont wanna work today...its not payday week for me, so theres nothing to look forward to, except, we are getting Texas Roadhouse Takeout for lunch, lol...Anyone familiar? I friggin love that place!!

Good Morning MENA! Hope everyone has a great and blessed day! Tonight after work Adam and I will go with my friend and his gf for dinner. I think Adam gets amazed that I do have life outside of Walmart world!

and Im also going to print the USCIS letter I received and show it to the Post Office and talk to them about that bcz them sending our letter back to USCIS seriously could have affected if we went to our AOS Interview in August. Thank GOD that World Relief got their copy of our interview and we will get it on Monday.

Mornin everyone

Kelly, a friend of mine took her three month old to the Dr yesterday, because the baby's hair was falling out. She was freaking out. He was laughing at her and told her it will grow back not to worry.

Jackie, sorry about the job. I hope you will find a new job soon.

We are leaving this weekend for Palm Bay FL. to see someone I met on VJ 2 years ago when we just started our visa process. Ginger doesnt come to VJ much, but she is one of the first ones I sought help from because her Algerian husband had just been through the interview. Hachemi and Farouk have become great phone friends and we have talked to them just about every weekend for 2 years. Now we are going to finally meet them in person. Palm Bay Florida is pretty close to Orlando so we are going to visit some of the Disney parks while we are there.

This is so true!!! Jackie, best of luck to you my friend - you know you are worth far more than that place was giving you just from the way they treated you. Any other flooring store will be lucky to have your skill and knowledge.

Thanks you guys for your nice words. I am sitting here mildly freaking out. I have a list of 14 places to apply at. Some better than others. I told my boss that his archaic way of paying strictly commisson was outdated and he may want to consider paying his key people what they are worth.

or at the very least not whittling down the commission so its less and less each time.

my last job we were paid monthly bonuses that over time were also lessened and lessened. when I started I averaged about 1000 a month in bonus and 18 months later it was down to like 200. ouch. but what really stung was the attitude behind it of nickel and diming people to death, we got our bonus 'docked' for everything and it was SO demoralizing after a while. sounds like thats what they were doing to you with the 'mistakes' withholding. I guess places like that shouldnt wonder why they have a hard time holding on to the good people....

sara and jackie, i hear ya on the commision, it must be all over...back when i started with TCF, people got commision based on individual performance, well i was an excellent seller so i was getting anywhere from 3-400$ a month just as a teller.they stripped that and based commision on branch performance and cut it down to 125$ for each teller if the whole branch hit goal..for that reason i pushed to become a supervisor and back then commision was anywhere from 5-600$ well since january 1st...its decreased big time, and each month i can get anywhere from 0-250$, which is now why ive pushed to be an assistant manager..I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY CAN DO NEXT!

Jackie, I hope u find a company that will recognize you for your talents. The people at sherlock will be sorry, im sure, they probably never thought u would up and leave..everything will be fine

Ok, so I am cleaning. Like a crazy person. I've scared the hell out of my black ant family. They just dont know which way to go now.

Demoralizing. That's exactly what it was. This new rule of paying mistakes, is a new rule and it only applied to me. Everyone else's mistakes go into an account, over/under and its considered the cost of doing business. I told them 6 months ago...if there is a month I don't make commission, I can't eat or drive. Well, business is business and they did what they felt they had to do. And so did I.

Now if I could just shake this OMG feeling, I could enjoy a weekend off.

Jackie, I'm sure you WILL be so much happier being in a new place that values their workers and rewards them well!

As for the Crocs -- I'm not surprised... I never looked at those shoes as appropriate for kids -- can easily fall off, get sticks/stones into the holes, etc. Really sorry what happened to the Tot.

Hope everyone is having a great Friday -- I'm about to do some major cleaning -- my dog and I (plus one of my roommate's dogs) have allergies, and I suspect it's the mold in the bathroom and kitchen (we live in a beach house so they grow easily) -- so going to try to kill off the visible ones (black spores.. yuck... I hope there's gloves somewhere). Would alcohol do the job (not to drink, mind you)?
