I passed my k1 visa application July 11, 2008!!!

Hi All,

It was my interview earlier at 7am and I arrived at the USEM at 6am. My dad and my bro took me there but my dad went home and my brother stayed there to wait on me. I got confused to which way I am going after they had xray my bag. I went on the line without knowing that its for B1/B2 applicants hehe. I went out and ask the guard for k1 visa applicants and she instructed me to go on the right side. It was more pleasant there and the guards were accomodating. I waited to be called to get a number which was 7019 at around 8AM and I handed over my DS forms with the appointment letter and then had my fingerscan at around 8:30am. After that i sit and waited for pre screening. It was 9AM when i saw my number flashed on the screen and went to window 14. I saw this guy who is in his 30's and ask for my BC and NBI. He ask if I have my Cenomar and I said no. He told me that its ok. After that he ask me these few questions. Who is my petitioner? How did we meet? When was the last time I saw him and If i have ever been to US? I answer all his questions pleasantly and politely and the he ask for pictures of me and my Fiance. I put them on a regular Photo Album so I couldnt slide it on small hole for him to see. He just told me to open it so he can look at the pictures. After that he told me to sit and wait to be called again for another interview. After another half an hour I hear my name telling me to go to window 28 for Interview. The CO looks like in his 40's. He ask me how am i doing and I smiled at him and said " I feel good Sir" and then he laugh a bit. Then he started asking me Who is my Petitioner? How did we meet? and If I ever been to US? (this 3rd question he was trying to talk in Tagalog so I was really smiling big hehe). He didnt ask for the documents that I have and not even bothered to look at my pictures. After those few questions he said " I see no problem with these(while he's checking on my papers)" You may now take a sit and wait for ur name to be called. I was about to go but then i remember that I can ask them if my visa is approved and so I did. "Sir?(I ask politely)" the CO said "Yes?" Then I asked "I would like to know if my visa is approved? He said "So far ... yes" and then I smiled at him and said "Thank you" He smile back and said " You're welcome"

Wow! I cant believe its going to be that easy for me! I feel like I was only dreaming while the guy handed me a pink slip at window 37 hehe.

I prayed the rosary last night before I went to sleep. My fiance told me he was praying so hard too and came home from work early in the afternoon to pray for me. Both of us were very happy. Our wedding plans will soon come true. My special thanks to all the VJ members who have been so helpful to me. I thank the lord specially for being so greatful to me. I believe he made all of these so easy for me. Thanks to all!!!

Hi! I plan to leave on October 15. POE sa Virginia. We're planning to get married on Jan. 3, 2009. Malayo pa kasi we're still saving money. I hope my mom will get a tourist visa so she can attend on my wedding. Im praying for it!
