Biometrics twice?

Hello all, sorry if this has already been asked. As some of you may recall, my husband and I sent the I-485 and the I-765 within 2 weeks of each other to Chicago (which I wouldn't recommend ). We now have NOA1's for each. And now he has been assigned 2 Biometrics appts- though we sent the $70 fee only with the I-485.

Question: Do you think we should proceed with both or should we ask them at the first appt if the first Biometrics could cover both, ie cancelling appt number 2?

One will be for the AOS and the other will be for the I-765. The fee is charged extra for the AOS biometrics but is included in the price for the EAD. Go to both appointments. You could take both appointment letters with you to the closest appointment and they may do both at once, but don't be surprised if they have you come back for the second appointment. By the way, the one with code 3 written on it is for the AOS - it means you get the works - all 10 fingers and photographs while code 2 is for the EAD - only the forefingers and photograph. Good luck - and don't worry; this is normal.
