Got the Interview Date !!!

Congratulations Bani and Good luck for the Interview.

After reading your post i gave a call to NVC and I got my interview date too it's august 26 .

I was hoping for interview date in August but i wasn't sure that i will get it as my case was just completed yesterday but i made it.

I would like to thank you all people on VJ. and yes lotofpatience U r doing Great work . keep it up . and good luck to u and fathima

From your signature i saw you got your interview letter on 14th July.. Can you tell me the date when NVC mailed you the interview letter so i can guess the date i might get the interview letter.. It usually takes 3 to 4 days for the mail to arrive from the date NVC mailes ..

I called the operator to double check my interview date ...but its not in the published list.

AandLKC, not to worry, nor is mine in. But our packet has reached them on July 14th and they have our information. I emailed them and they confirmed the iinterview date for me. Here is their email id - ChennaiIV@state.gov.

They are very responsive, I have got back replies from them in less than 1.5 hours during their business hours.. wow!!! I am happy with how quick they are...

Also received the appointment letter today .. woow.. so pleased with the NVC mail these time... Got the mail very fast than expected.. Good Job NVC.. Keep it up..

Hello All,

How soon can the spouse go for the medical in India ?.. My husband called the hospital to get an appointment and they gave him a July 29th. His interview is on Aug 27 in Mumbai.. Just want to know, will that ok or can rescheulded for another day.. ??

Any comments or suggestions.. Please

It is ok to have to appt for medical this early, as the interview is just 30 days away and any problem during medical exam would be solved before interview so interview would not get delayed.

FYI:

Yesterday got an e-mail from Mumbai US Consulate that they have received our case. Also confirmed that the interview is on Aug 27 at 7:30 am.. Yeah.. Now last remaining steps.. 07/29 - medical to be done and around 18th of Aug - VFS visit in Ahmedabad.. Almost getting to the end.. so much excited...

Good Luck to all who are going to have their interviews in the near future.. Hoping you all reunite with your spouses very soon..

FYI:

Just looked the Mumbai US consulate and they have update the Interview Appointment Schuedule for the month of August 2008.. Yeah... Another confirmation of our case reaching Mumbai... So excited... So couple of remaining steps left for us to complete....

My husband is going for medical appointment today (indian date) as change of date happened.. Instead of 07/29 it is going to happen on 07/26.. Medical at Apollo Hosptials at Gandhinagar...Will update more on that.. as i talk to him tomorrow morning...
