Hello All,

Just got off from NVC operator asking for the interview date if it has been assigned to our case yet.. The lady replied.. Yes it has.... I was like.. woow... which one. She said " August 27th, 2008 at 7:30am" :dance::dance::dance:

I am so much happy.. :dance::dance::dance: Called my husband and told him first.. He is also so much happy..

Thank You to all VJ members and visitors :star:(F) for all your support and well wishes.. I am sure i will need all that until my husband receives the visa on hand..

Again, Thank you so much.. and i am very much happy. :dance::dance: I cann't express the happiness and excitment that i am having right now while posting this... No words at all..

AandLKC, as I emailed to you, just wait another 10 more days too see your case# in the list... It was similar to Hyd's case... Don't worry!

not to woryy..it will be there within a week or so.. keep checking the list, wait until ur packet is delivered thru DHL, at chennai, and then call them 2 days later, they wil tell u if they received the case or not.. then check the list everyday! and i suggest u make a print out of it, i did that and will be carryin the list with me to my husbands interview HAAHA!! best to be prepared!!

Our case was transferred yesterday to Mumbai Consulate.. Confirmed with the NVC operator too.. Today checking the DHL site but not showing any results.. i don't know.. i tried all the dates.. still no luck.. i think DHL will pick the packets today since it was just starting of the week..

7-28-08 interview- AP for 4-6 weeks (awaiting name chk clearance-told by chenai operator)

8-20-08 chennai forwarded file to DOS- according to inquiry from congressmans office

9-2-08- last update to case,told by DOS

12-12-08 emailed chennai embassy asking status of our case, and got email to send passport..

12-15-08 submitted passport to vfs

12-19-08 VISA ISSUED! in hand!

12-25-08 hubbys arrival! smooth POE!

1-16-09 green card arrives

1-27-09 SSN card in mail

I just checked the DHL website.. and i found one packet send to Mumbai consulate today.. DHL just received the shipment information... I hope it is our's.. I am going to track this one all the way to Mumbai... :dance::dance:
