I know some things have changed since last Sept. so I'm afraid to give you the info I have.

For us it was just an email from the embassy - he never got a physical pkt 3 mailed to him (this caused a 3 month delay in our processs )

Has anyone else gotten it in email format who has gone through Cairo since Jan. ?

I think that you have to wait until it arrives.

It doesn't take long for them to send it once the Embassy gets the application.

We got it in less than 10 days.

Then, he started on his physical..........

He can go to the police and get his police background check done.

There should be info on this site somewhere about this.

COPY OF DIVORCE CERTIFICATE W/ APPROPRIATE TRANSLATION

COPY OF DEATH CERTIFICATE IF SPOUSE OR FAMILY MEMBER IS DECEASED W/ APPROPRIATE TRANSLATION

COPY OF MILITARY SERVICE RECORD W/ APPROPRIATE TRANSLATION

Also, there was no medical form in our packet.

The physician had it at his office.

Tell him to get his physical.

Ahmed ended up having to come back another day to pick up the labwork results and the TB Xray results,

which were at two different places.

Also, the phone number is wrong for one of the physicians in Alexandria.
