Passport style photos for AOS...

Will my husband need 4 passport style photos for AOS? 2 for the I 131 form and 2 for the I 765 form? I also read A post where someone made a reference to submitting 6 pass port style photos for AOS. If this is true what are the other 2 for?

I also have a question about the I 131 form in section part 3, processing information.

Date of intended departure? Expected length of trip? What should we put here.

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks

If your husband is filing for AOS he will need to submit 2 photos for each form. Two for the I-485, two for the I-131 and two for tje I-765, so a total of 6. the information is in the instructions for each form.

As for the dates for the I-131, you can put whatever dates you want since most people are not sure if they will be travelling or not or for how long.

you really only need 2 photos each, total (ie 2 for you and 2 for your husband), if you want a reference for that check out this book. I used it during our process and its the most helpful book out there. http://www.amazon.com/Fiance-Marriage-Visa...0711&sr=8-4

they take your husbands pics during biometrics anyway.

According to the instructions to the forms, it is 6 total, just like Mononoke said. Why would the USC need to submit any photos anyway? it's the alien's application.

If i remember rightly you need the photos for the G whatever form. also you need less photos since you are sumbitting the application as one complete block. Having submitted the application as i described and received no RFE for more photo's i feel it is the safest bet and endorsed by the immigration lawyers. Like i said they take your photo at the biometrics and thus will have electronic copy which is much more useful for them.

umm, why would I need to submit photos when it is my husband who is adjusting status? My husband will submit 6 photos of himself like everyone has suggested.

Thanks everyone!!!!

Whether it is 2, 4 or 6 photos of the applicant (USC need not submit), it is a well known substantiated fact that 6 will not cause an issue.

YMMV

The USC does not submit a G-325 for AOS, you're confusing it with the k-1 petition. For AOS, the USC only submits the I-864 and accompanying evidence.

If you file I-130 together with I-485 you need to send form G-325a for the USC and you need passport photos with it. But with K1 visa you don't do that.
