Received packet 3 today. We'll call on Monday morning to schedule an appoitment for the medical and send the forms and checklist on Monday too. Hopefully we'll get an interview date soon.

Cookie, anything yet?

We received our interview date about 2.5 weeks after we sent in the DS-230 and Checklist. We received the interview date on Tuesday (July 29) and it is for August 11, if that gives you an idea of the current timeframe!

 awesome! Good luck for your interview!

Good luck to you too! I think, on recent experiences, we'd better expect an RFE ourselves and start preparing the affidavits now!

awww, sorry Cookie. At least you know that a few days after they receive your supporting documents you'll get the cool white envelopes that say APPROVED.

We went to Knighstbridge Doctors yesterday. Even though I did my best with the vaccines for the girls it turns out that they were not up to date with US requirements so my 10 year old had the Hepatatis B and the 14 year old had the new Gardasil, plus MMR booster and some other meningitis one. I had my MMR done at the GP the day before so was OK. It all went pretty smooth at a grand total cost of 570 pounds for the 3 of us

I totally forgot about my police certificate....I suddenly remembered that I should have got it by now. Gave the police ppl a call and they told me they posted it early last week :( So if it doesn't show tomorrow I'm going to have to write to them and request another copy..at least there is time, but i could do without the extra stress :P

How is everyone doing?

I am still waiting for a copy of my lost police certificate but finally got all the affidavits together (busy people living busy lives etc...but grateful they all took the time to make it happen :D ) so they can get posted in the morning...then back to a bit more waiting ...wow time is flying by :(

Hi, was thinking yesterday about how you're doing. You'll get approved next week most probably:))

We sent the DS-230 and the checklist on the 2nd of August and still no packet 4, no interview date arghhhh. We did email the embassy yesterday morning asking if an interview has been/can be scheduled soon because of the schools starting next week. If you can have a petition expedited, I think it's the I-129 (?) because you have a job waiting surely they can at least accomodate the children who need to start school, too. When I called the embassy helpline they told us that our case was updated on the system on the 7th and they have all the required documents.

Back to waiting for the postman.....

....and the postman brought me a letter from the embassy. Interview date September 18th at 9.00 am :( I am happy that it's coming to an end but this now means that the girls will start school a whole month too late.

You are so lucky not trying to sell a house in London right now...car, too. Either everyone has gone on a holiday or they're all totally broke and not buying anything anymore.

Apologies for quoting myself, but.... I was wrong! :)

SWMBO got a lovely white envelope this morning, containing a letter that says our I130 is approved! Hooray!!

There's no File Number on it though - is that normal? Also, might it be worth doing the affidavits anyway, just in case they ask for them later?

I guess we wait for packet 3 now. Off to update our timeline.

Congratulations! You'll get your case number in your packet 3 :)

This morning we received a new interview date yaaay. It's next week on Friday the 22nd of August instead of Sept 18th so this makes a very speedy DCF, 3 and a half months from the day we sent the petition. Well..this is providing everything goes well at the interview of course :0)
