Instead of a wedding cake, we had a cupcake tower with 80 cupcakes in it (it was a small wedding, so a very small guest list...civil wedding, and our 2nd time to be married to we kept it simple lang talaga).

The lady who did our cake tower gave us small boxes to put 1 cupcake in...that served as their giveaway. :)

To all Filipinas who got married in the US, did you give giveaways to your guests? If you did, what did you give? How popular are wedding giveaways there? And to those who are still yet to get married in the US, do you plan to give wedding favors?

I had been planning to purchase native stuffs for this occasion but I don't think I still have enough time to do this. Gusto ko sana i-personalize ang giveaways kaya I wanted to make them myself. Ok lang ba kung madami-dami native stuffs dalhin ko?

Hello friend,

I gave Ounce Mug with Pewter Emblem, Oz Personalized Beer Mug, Beaded Jewelry Trio,Black Maid of Honor Tank Top with Crystals, Black Ring Bearer Tote Bag, Blue Silk Wedding Fans etc. to my guest..I got a good collection of Theme Wedding Favors...which was liked by all my guest and I gave different gifts to different guest as I have many varieties to chose from...The best part of the story is that everyone liked it also.

So if you want you can select it from these, they are easily available to shops of Losangeles,as I stay here,I don't have a idea about Philippines, but I think you can get it there also, they are very common wedding favors but are beautiful.

Regards,

Nelson

I already bought small wooden rosaries (since we're both Catholics) as wedding souvenirs. Will they ask me if I bring 20 pcs.? Or should I just label them as "wedding souvenirs"?

I don't think so. You can put those inside your luggage. With mine, I bought more than 20+ wedding souvenirs (bigger than yours) and place it inside the balik-bayan box. We didn't have any problem with the immigration. They don't open luggages or boxes except if something suspicious is placed inside.

My wedding is around the corner and I got wedding favors from Buy Wedding Favors Online. I find their favors to be extremely good and to be great giveaways for my guests. I personally handpicked my wedding favors from their huge collection of favors to suit the nautical wedding theme I have planned.
