Is the I-864A needed for the affidavit of support?

Hello,

we're soon to file for the AOS. My new and lovely American wife (she reads these posts :) meets the criteria I think only for this year, not the last three. She was sufficient for the embassy as my sole sponsor, but I understand the I-864 is reviewed more closely. Her father has agreed to be my other sponsor. Some confusion arose, however. Given that we don't live with him anymore (but she has done for the last two years) do we need to file an I-864A as well as the main I-864? Who needs to fill out this supplemental form?

Thanks,

Jackuk
