Yep, I've done some training in Houston as well.... I can't remember the name of the best school, but I can find out. Just FYI, it's wonderful and rewarding work, however it's tiring & hard. I still love it though after 16 years. I just don't carry the workload I use to. It also helps being dually licensed for skin care/esthetics.

I'm still trying to figure out how they get "predigested" baby food in a can...how, exactly, do you predigest something? that would say to me that someone has already eaten it and possibly regurgitated it OR its come out the other end....could anyone shed some light on this?

I dunno but the way penguins do it, the mother (or is it the father?) eats the food, pukes it up and puts it in the baby penguin's mouth to eat. :luv:

I see West Palm is #5 for most uncomfortable. I disagree. I lived in Tallahassee for three years. I thought it was so much worse there in the summer. It was just hot, humid, and stagnant. The humidity maybe a little higher here, but at least there is a breeze!

Good afternoon mena peeps.

I'm kinda in shock, I just quit my job. Yep, quit. Like in cleaned off my desk, left the key to the store in my drawer and quit. It's been a long time coming, they have been riding my azz and adjusting my pay to fit their needs. The last straw was when I went in today and saw they were docking me $585 for mistakes......(duh, take it out of the profit) they did say I was going to have to pay for mistakes but could never really tell me how or when...well they decided that $585 was a good amount. They showed me no documentation about this,,nor did they tell me. It just showed up on my commission report. or lack of commission report.

I commute 45 minutes each way and without commission, I can't drive there anymore. They know this and still took money away. I was just starting to look anyway for a job closer to home, they just made my decision easier for me.

So being the chill kind of person I am, I am not going to panic. I will regroup over Fri/Sat/ and Sun and then hit the streets on Monday morning. Everything happens for a reason and I have strong faith that it will be ok for me. (a few prayers from my friends sure cant hurt either  )

Holy Shnikies, Jackie! Well, I will be praying for you...big prayers that you get a good job real soon. Everything does happen for a reason, and this might have been the impetus you needed to say good riddance! I wish you lots of luck, and I hope that all your needs will be provided for in this time.

Jackie....

I know you are shocked now and maybe a bit unsure. You made the right decision. You were miserable there! Things will fall into place, don't worry. No one deserves to be treated that way much less you! Take a breather and don't stress...God has a way of working these things out!
