no way! i wouldn't be able to give my buddy hell about 'Big Perm' being his coach.

i can see ole 'strap jaw' in Dallas or Oakland if he can put up w/ Jerry or Al.

Jason Garret is the heir apparent in Dallas and no one in their right mind would go to Oakland and deal with an owner who is obviously not in his right mind.

ah, good old Al Davis return-of-the-living-dead-2-zombie-face.jpg

It's a good thing for the rest of the AFC West that he's still around.

Is everybody still alive?

This marks my 29th year as a Browns fan and once again I've been lulled into the notion that they might actually be a good team.

Players to watch:

James Davis. This guy can run.

Brady Quin. Can the lifelong Browns fan rescue the team? Worked with Kosar. Didn't work with Couch.

Joshua Cribbs. No word on his contract, so we may start the season without him. He may sit out for a while, or they may try to trade him. Lerner needs to break out the MBNA credit card and pay him. He's the only bright spot in the past 9 years. Too bad they can't clone him.

Brandon McDonald. Finally, a great corner.

Eric Wright. Ditto.

James Harrison. If he can stay healthy he has the potential to be a star running back. I never could figure out why Crennel didn't use him more. I never have figured out why he did half of the things he did though.

I would like to have seen them keep Bartel as the #3 quarterback. He looked pretty good, even if it was just the pre season.

Let's go Browns, beat Minnesota!

Braylon Edwards single-handedly ruined my fantasy tam last year as he was one of my keepers...

your team is offensively challenged.... Go Jets

I'm sure he's sorry about that. We'll see if butterfingers can keep a grip on the ball this year.

Hate to bust your bubble but Cleveland is gonna get wrecked by your division... Steelers/Ravens.... come on

While I fully realize they've never played in a Super Bowl and people love to hate them:

GEAUX SAINTS!

But, like Chad, I'm more of a college football fan. No surprise, I'm sure that LSU is my team. And I don't care what anyone says, they did NOT tie with USC in 2003. They won that National Championship....USC was a bunch of whiny baby losers. :)

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

I like the Saints. I have an affinity for losers I suppose.

One of my favorite memories I have from my days of driving a truck for the musical Cats was in Baton Rouge 2 years ago. It was a Saturday and LSU was getting ready to play Tennessee. I drove from the venue to a wal mart to stock up on supplies. When I was heading home I saw a bunch of college students doing pre game drinking exercises in a yard by the road. I pulled up and hit my air horn, which they loved of course. I then reached down and got my Volunteers cap and put it on while I was pulling away. They threw a beer at me, but it was a half hearted throw that didn't even come close. Sort of like all of the passes that UT's quarterback threw that day, because LSU won and went on to be National Champs.
