Yes, $1,010 is inclusive... What status are you adjusting from?

YMMV

Inclusive only if you send it all in at once on a K-1. If you send in separately, you will have to pay the separate fee...so save a few hundred and send in I-485, AP, and EAD all together. Not sure on the J-1 but if you have to fill out a I-485, the form instructions say to send it all in at once for $1010 that also includes your biometrics fee.

Also, note that both the AP and EAD will require separate support documents - ie - get SIX passport photos taken, and two photos will go with each set of documents.

Adjusting from a J-1 requires you to file I-130 in addition to the other forms.

Add $355 on top of your $1,010. :)

AOS Approved on 10-17-08 (details in profile)

Removal of Conditions on 07-19-10

In this tedious process, we tend to forget that this is all worth it.

I love my hubby beyond anything in this world.

That will get your package returned. Enclose two separate checks for success.

Not 100% correct.... Separate fee only if you apply for EAD/AP BEFORE you apply for AOS.

From the I-485 instructions:

NOTE: Effective July 30, 2007, if you file Form I-485 to adjust your status as a permanent resident, no additional fee is required to also file an application for employment authorization on Form I-765 and/or advance parole on Form I-131. You may file these forms concurrently. If you choose to file the I-765 and/or I-131 separately after the effective date, you must also submit a copy of your I-797C, Notice of Action, receipt as evidence of the filing of an I-485

YMMV

I meant the total not the check in itself.

I am adjusting from a j-1 visa

Actually, I'm correcting myself as well, I was wrong, sorry, thanks fwaguy! Don't want to spread mis-information. You CAN file AP and EAD after you have filed for AOs with I-485, and it will not cost you anything. It is inclusive of the $1010, whether you send it in together or separately. You would send it to the same Chicago address. The only difference is that you will also have to send in your NOA as evidence proving that you did in fact file the I-485 and pay the fee. It's very clear on the instructions pages (p. 8 of I-131 explains it well)
