Same thing for me... i heard the consulate's back log is back down to a normal wait (60-75 days after NVC sent) but it's still a long wait... and thats only for K3's... I130's still could take even longer.

Nothing amor i'm going crazyyyyyyy but there is nothing to do than just wait.

Don't worry, I totally understand what you are going through. I am traveling to the Dominican Republic every 3-4 months to see my husband and we talk everyday. It gets really expemsive but its all worth it in the end.

yeah i do the same i was there last may and now i'm going back next month :) i'm so happy to see him again!

about the calling how do you do it? i have broadvoice which is VOIP and i pay 15 dollars monthly and he could call me and i could call him anytime, unlimited minutes.

well does your husband have high speed internet? if he does then your cost will only be 15 a month which is the service here in USA , with broadvoice you will buy a box wich has a NYC number or any state you may choose assigned and you take it to DR plug it and LISTO you will now have a US number in DR that you could call and he could call you and talk unlimited. my baby calls me everymorning to wake me up and at night we talk from 9pm till 1am or sometimes 2am. is amazing :)

with calling cards i used to spend $80 monthly, my husband didn't have DSL so we got the service which is about 900 pesos like 30 dollars monthly plus the $15 of the calling plan makes about 45 dollars monthly saving me $35 a month.

The company name is Broadvoice and you get it here in the US the service is 9.99 but with taxes is about $15 a month.

by the way i got my first touch today!!!! i don't know what to expect from it but i'm happy
