As some of you have read about this on other forums... Crash had a horrible experience with the London Embassy making a ridiculous typo on his visa. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE all of you ... read your visas CAREFULLY to make sure there are no mistakes on it. Once the visa is brought back tomorrow it will have taken ONE WEEK for the Embassy to correct their stupid mistake. So as a bit of advice.. do not book tickets until you make sure the visa is 100% correct!

Medical scheduled for 4/10/06 - everything went great!!

5/2/06 - INTERVIEW - APPROVED !!

5/20/06 - Crash came home to NY for good!!

I checked our over thoroughly after what happened with you guys. YOu didnt have your tickets booked did you?

unfortunately yea.. crash booked em as soon as he got home since we had researched and researched which flight was the cheapest so we knew what we were doing... only then did he really look at the visa. but then again... c'mon... would you really look at "sex" and think it was wrong??

But now that the crisis is over, you HAVE to admit its funny. :lol:

And yes, just another thing that is a good idea to double check before making travel plans...!

To add to this, check your visa once you have been processed at the POE. When I came through Philly the POE's handwriting was so poor it was actually read as a R1, not K1 which led to all kinds of problems with me not being in the system. I couldn't get a SSN and didn't understand why. After several trips to the local USCIS office they discovered the mistake thank gawd. It led to me having to drive up to the Canadian border and entering the country (I was in no man's land area so didn't actually leave the US) and then be processed again at the Canadian POE.

Met the ole man in January 1998

Jan. 2004: K1 visa issued ~ April 2004: Got on a plane ~ Nov. 2004: GC in my mucky hands ~ Dec. 2006: Received 10 YR GC

September 2008 - US passport delivered!

Any response to 'sex' for Crash at that point woulda been 'yes please!'
