When you call NVC (603-334-0700) you enter the prompts and then you enter your USCIS case number...if NVC received your case they will assign you a case number...the automated message would same something like "NVC received your case on blah blah date and your case number is blah blah blah blah...."

NVC Journey Total days: 75

04.09.2008: Case# assigned

05.12.2008: DS230 Entered into System

06.18.2008: Case Complete (So upset that it took this long 37days)

US Embassy:

10.29.2008: Interview Date Assigned

11.17.2008: Medical Appointment

12.03.2008: Interview Date (FINALLY!!!)**APPROVED**

12.08.2008: Visa Delivered

12.21.2008: POE JFK

 Congrats.... Tudo de bom pra vcs... Give from four days to four weeks from your approval date for NVC to receive your case and then call them they will assign you a RDJ number... then with that number you can actually contact the Rio De Janeiro embassy and ask for them to foward you the next step... Hope all goes fast and smooth from here... Best of luck and keep us posted on your progress.
