My husband is now employed and lives in Spain. When we married he lived in Morocco I just realized the address for his correspondance will go to his parents house in Morocco. Should I submit a beneficiary change of address? And if so how do I do that?

Change of Address should be done as soon as possible after moving.

It can be done via the USCIS site.

So I should change his address so he can recieve correspondance once they arrive? Just to be clear my address hasn't changed... just my husband (the beneficiary)

I don't think you need to file the AR-11 b/c your husband (beneficiary) has moved. Although the link provided doesn't explicitly say anything about that type of scenario.

But on the other hand, you should do it, if when approved he will be the "agent". If not (which pretty much everyone does---as the mail from NVC will get to you faster), you (the petitioner) should be the agent. You are not using a lawyer, correct?

Also, since he is living in Spain, he might need to get a police certificate from there as well. You may want to look into this: 1. if it will be required and 2. how soon you can obtain one.

We planned on me being the agent but I read that they will send him a packet??? We are doing this ourselves... We already planned on getting a police record from Spain but he just arrived last Sunday and hasnt' a permanent address yet.

I don't think it's possible but can we change consulates without having to resubmitt paperwork? or will he have to go back to Morocco anyway since that is where we married?

Depends on which petition. It's still too early for me, but if I remember correctly, then the K3 interview is allow only in the country of marriage....then 130 can be forwarded to the consulate of your choosing...where your spouse had legal residency. Could be a headache to have that information changed now....NVC might tell you to contact the consulate in Morocco and have them forward it to Spain.

Which packet are you refering to? The one from the consulate?

I know for Jordan the consulate sends the packet to the petitioner in the US....UGH...of course wasting precious time :-( Check out those going through Morocco recently to find out what they specifically do there.
