Tomorrow I leave Sweden!

I'm really having mixed emotions. I am so happy that I'm finally gonna be with my husband after all this visa waiting. But it's so hard to say goodbye to everyone here in Sweden.

Especially my family.

My POE is in Philadelphia, I know they're a little slow in customs there and they told me at the embassy that a 4 hour layover might not be enough...

Is there anyone here that knows if it's to short?

What can I expect at POE?

4 hrs will be plenty of time just expect to sit around for 3 hrs after you go through customs. dont worry it will be quick and painless. but i dont know philly but dont see where they would be any slower then anyone else. my wife came through lax and it took 1 1/2 hrs but we were the last ones to be processed and that was after the second plane came into play. so good luck and welcome to usa have a safe trip

It depends on how many international flights are arriving at the same time you are and how many new immigrants they have to process. It may be a long line or it may be just a few people. My husband came in through Miami which is a major POE for a lot of people and the day he came in there was only one person with him being processed. But I think 4 hours will give you enough time to go through POE and all that.

The experience is pretty simple. If you're not sure what line to go through, ask one of the workers there and say your entering the country with a K3 visa and need to be processed. They will then process your paperwork which is the unopened brown envelope the embassy gave you, you will have sign, have your picture taken, and get fingerprinted. After that you go through customs and you're all done. It's pretty easy and painless.
