Is it true that if you file the EAD first than I-1485 you might receive the 10-year green card than conditional one??? I am just asking only because some one told me about that it's kind of surprising.

09/28/08-green card received

1-751

07/02/10-mailed it 2day

07/06/10-they received my application forms

07/13/10-received notice receipt(gc extended for one year)

07/28/10-received biometric appointment

09/23/10 GC approved!!!

9/26/20 Gota pproval notice

10/01/10 GC receivedd

yup but if its 2 years of marriage na,,, but if less than it's 2 years GC.. sa mga k3 favor un kc medyo d n tagal ang wait for 2 years ng marriage nila.. pd rin sa k1 pero tagal p nun 2 years eh... pero if willing nman wait ok lng, kaso maout of status na,,, kc ung k1 d na valid, taz ung 1-94 maexpire na...

Whether you file EAD early or simply delay filing AOS so that the permanent resident status is granted after the two-year anniversary of marriage, you get the 10 year card. Filing EAD is optional regardless of the timing. This works for K3, not for K1.
