hello Guys,

my case is at consulate since 26, june... my husband still waiting package 3, i wonder how long now its about 12 days? my lawyer said that i hav eto send to consulate a form OF-169 in order to have an interview date...? iam confused that others dont send anything and just get package 3!!!

anyone could help i would appreciate the answering question above

It took 3 weeks for the consulate to send package 3. I sent an email asking the consulate after 2 weeks and they told me the package had been sent and the interview date:

"IV, Casablanca" <IVCasablanca@state.gov>

I hope that helps.

When I heard NVC sent our case to CASA I emaild the consulate right away to find out if they recieved it yet and set an appoinment for the interview and Said got the packet about 3 days later and the same day I got a reply from the consulate. NVC sent it out the 11th of June and Said got the packet on the 23 of June. I would email them and ask questions. Good luck!! :thumbs:

Yes after about two weeks knowing casa has the application i would start to ck where his packet was, sometimes they get lost and they have to go get them..

Yes, send them a quick e-mail and they should be able to tell you when they sent out the packet and when the interview is... they send the packet to the SO in Morocco, not the USC.

Hi everyone. I just found this website and I am so happy to have this support. But at the same time I am worried to read so many bad reviews of this Embassy. Is it still so bad, and what can my fiance do to prepare for his interview? Is there any way to choose the interviewer because some seem nicer than others? His english is ok but not great, and especially if he gets nervous it might be hard for him. I am so worried now! Any advice you can give?

You can not pick interviewer, best to start doing the questions/answers now and just be a prepared as you can. Be sure to make a copy of the application packet you sent give it to him so he will know what was given, this is where alot of the interview questons come from. He needs to TRY not be nervous but im sure its hard, always tell the truth, but you need to be very sure to understand the questions so they dont twist things around. Look directly at the interviewer, dont joke, answer what is asked......and hope
