NBI and police clearances are valid up to six months. Better if she will get a more recent ones if you are to have the interview in August. Also, Certificate of No Marrriage (CENOMAR) original copy in NSO paper is being asked during the interview, one of the requirements.

I called NSO Help line- (02) 737-1111 to request for CENOMAR and deliver it at home. I paid at metrobank and in 10 days, I got it. Renewal of NBI clearance can be done in a day.

I really recommend you to read sherif's thread. It guides me in the process.

Goodluck!

Police clearance is valid for 6months but is not needed unless she had been to another country and stayed there for 6months or more, then she would need police clearance from that country.. NBI is valid for 1year so she don't need another one for the interview even if the interview will be in august or september. CENOMAR is what you will be paying for document verification so there is no need to get one for interview as it will not help you get away from document verification AR. (ask doc lei and fitzee, they could verify how useless it is to bring your own CENOMAR even if it is the latest copy)

try downloading the newly revised packet 4, you won't find CENOMAR as part of the document you need to bring on the packet 4 list.. Yes it is still a requirement but they want to get it on their own that is why you would need to pay document verification, no one is exempted from paying that now.

thanks for the clarification. You are right, NBI is valid for one year, and the police clearances for six months, and only needed when she stayed in other countries for 6 months. Hmmm, i should read packet 4 again:) I remember one who had her interview telling me CENOMAR is needed. I even got two copies. Sayang pera..hehehehe

some prescreener will ask for cenomar but they will say only if you have it (pero di rin nakakatulong if wala pa yong cenomar na straight from NSO (a.k.a. verification result). yong prescreener ko, she asked me if i have cenomar sabi ko wala sabi nya ok lang.

i know you will do great, I am positive you will pass the interview.. i just hope and pray that you won't have to wait long for your visa.
