It means should be a simple overcome and not much delay. As was written get the copies of receipts for tickets and fed-ex them over. Then do a handwritten timeline of your relationship, make sure all dates and events match. Then notorize and send also.

The handwritten timeline is being asked at all consulates lately.Do not panic or worry, Pink will be there soon

My wife actually has all the credit card statements of the airline purchases. I have all the paper trail. I believe only one ticket was purchased with a check which she also has the bank statement stating which check it was. She offered it to them, but they said just hold on for it until she sends in the timeline letter. They want it notorized which I will get done ASAP. They also asked for names of relatives in the US, which she also has copies of. The asked for the same information for our K-1 that was denied. Is there a time period that we should wait before submitting the paperwork, or should I do it ASAP as soon as she gets the stuff required? Thanks.

Call the airline and ask for a reciept also. They should be able to email it to you. They may put up a little resistance (they did with me). INSIST! I told them (United) "Fine, Vietnam Airlines is opening direct routes to the U.S., so I'll use them from now on". That did the trick. The receipt should look like this:

ASAP is best. The blue slip should have further info on it as to when they want it submitted and how.

From what I have heard on the relative information, it doesnt hurt to have copy of their drivers license and such. The more detail the better.

Sorry to hear it didnt go as planned, but will be easy overcome. Good luck with it

We have all the information from the previous interview. They asked for the list of relatives. We have everything imagineable about her only Aunt, her husband and children from Birth Cert, to passports, to Driver License. From what my wife says, the interview went quite well, suprising that the interviewer and translator were really nice in their tone of voice and such. The asked her many many questions. She made a list of exactly what was asked and her answers..there were a total of 50+ questions asked. Good thing we went over everything imagineable. I just put together our timeline and I am getting it notarized tommorrow and will send overnight to my wife. Soon as she gets it...she will then submit it ASAP.

Best of luck and try to stay positive! We had a similar hiccup in our process: they wanted a few more bits of evidence as well as a timeline. However, once we submitted everything they asked for we got the visa on the second interview!

I'm devestated right now. My wife just called me....they said they need records of the plane ticket purchases..which is the the package(evidence) and they need a written timeline of our relationship.....What does this really mean? Any input?....I'm lost and confuse right now.....

tway22, sorry about the Blue slip.

Read the slip carefully so you don't miss anything. I sent everything they asked for, according to my SO. She failed to mention that they wanted more evidence also. The request for additional evidence was stated very poorly on the slip we got. By the time I got the Blue slip sent to me, it was too late. She already went back to HCM.

I read the blue slip over and over again. They are not requiring any more proof of relationship. In fact, they actually return some of our evidence back to my wife, like some emails, letters, employment letters, etc. They only kept a few as they said that is all they needed and we can keep the rest. Just got my timeline notarized and will be sending it tommorrow.
