Received NOA2s, what's next??

Hello everyone, I just received my paper NOA2s yesterday which stated that our case has been sent to the NVC, however, when I called the NVC and put in my receipt number, they claim they don't have a record of it. What does this mean? Do they have it? the petitions were approved on 7/1, and I called the NVC today 7/8. What does everyone think about where it could be right now? thanks everyone!!

You don't need to wait for a letter but it could take a while longer for your cases (plural) to arrive at NVC. You can just keep calling and asking about each case separately. You must talk to a human about the I-129F as it will never show on the automated response.

Please fill in your profile with the service center. Vermont seems to be treating K3's differently than California so the data is critical in helping you and others.

You did not peitition for an N/A visa at N/A service center.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...
