Tell ur husband to call talk to an NVC CSR and inquire if the Immigrant Visa Bill (IV) was generated already. Then he can pay thru nvc online system after 2-3 business working days the status change to 'PAID' u can print-out the bar-coded coversheet and submit it to NVC along your DS-230 forms. Using online payment system was already proven and tested that it is rather faster than the traditional way. Pls check my timeline.

Don't wait for the AOS Package nor DS-230 from NVC it will takes longer time u can actually download it to a certain nvc website, if u need more details please feel free to pm me. Goodluck
