Hello VJ . . .

Around 9:45 my number flashed on the screen for me to go to the pre-screener at W-26. She asked for my bc as well as my kids' bc, nbi clearance, affidavit of support, my annullment papers, annotated marriage contract, emails and pictures. I informed her that I had screen shots and chat logs but she declined.

She grilled me about my annulment (bordering on being nosy but nice).

What is your name?

Who is your petitioner?

Where did you meet your petitioner?

When did you meet him personally?

Were you married before? (asking me while holding my annulment)

When did you last see your ex?

Do you communicate?

Do you mean that you were still married when you met your petitioner? (She scribbled something on a paper.)

Then she asked me in tagalog how much i spent for the annulment and said to the other pre-screener that she's sure my petitioner was the one who paid for it and commented that the annulment was still new. My was finalized July 2007 almost a year already.

Next, she asked my kids about their birth dates and ages then told us to go back to our seats and wait for our number to be called again.

Our number was called again by 10:30 A.M. We were so hungry already and the kids agitated.

The CO was that 20-something lady. She was nice. She saw that I had readied all the clear folders (folders 1 to 10) and my big binder of chat history. She asked for our pics. I gave her pics on the first and 2nd visits in 2 different clear folders. She then asked me if I had pics of me and my kids when they were still younger so I gave her several pics of us (Thanks to dbears at nakadala ako). After making me swear, she then asked me the following:

What is your name?

Who is your petitioner?

When was the last time that you saw you your petitioner?

Were you still married when you first met him?

What took you so long to decide to file? (i'd like to tell her that my annulment was the obstacle. .my head was aching already)

Then she scribble something on a white paper and told us to wait outside for us to be called again.

I was called at W-37 and the guy asked me if the CO gave an instruction. He checked something on the computer and got a pink slip. He read the white paper and told me to secure a Notarized Letter of Intent from my petitioner stating that he still wants to marry and gave 2 sheets of papers (1st is the instruction and the 2nd is the form to be submitted along with the document). He told me to comply the required document and gave back our passports.

Hi there,

Congrats. You'll be done once you submitted them the intent to marry from your fiance. Just a little wait once again but soon will be alright.

Thank you Shape and Candid and to all VJ members for the moral support.

Sad to say I can't join the VJ Eyeball on the 10th. Pasyal pasyal muna ako dito sa MOA to relieve myself of the stress  before going back home and back to work.

Thank you VJ Family .. .

Hi Vanz, now I understand why you were asked of a notarized letter of intent to marry? it could be because of the dates of your annulment along with getting into a new relationship. That requirement is just something to comply for the benefit of the doubt.

Keep holding on to HIM. My thoughts and prayers...

Nainis ako sa part na to.. Whether your fiance paid for the annulment or you paid it yourself, it is absolutely NONE OF THEIR BUSINESS, what matters it you were annuled prior to filing the initial petition. Besides, kahit di pa annuled, it doesn't mean that two people are still living together as husband and wife di ba, parents ko nga di naman annuled but they have been separated for 2DECADES na, would that still be considered married life together? napaka-unprofessional naman ng ginawa nong prescreener, she should have kept her thoughts and opinions to herself. Inis talaga ako.

I bet it was the prescreeners note that prompted that additional (unecessary) requirement. Just comply nalang, pasulatin mo nalang cya another letter of intent.. it might help if he note in the letter that he's fully aware of your previous marriage and that he also accepts the kids and will treat them as his own. tapos padala mo nalang via FEDEX, mga 3-4days lang marecieve mo na yon agad.

Good luck and do keep us posted ha.
