salam everybody

My Brother has a big beard , and that he did not join the army for that reason , (security issues)he has great values , violence is so far from him , he never been arrested or involved with any suspicious groups. never been abroad. you can find many like that in egypt? so i think that was one of my red flags in the interview that , even the consular handed me my passport back tod o more addministrative processing .

anyone with such experience or got a memper of family with the same condition may offer more spot light on this point

thank you

Salam....unless your brothers name has been red flagged for that reason, I dont think his looks would effect your visa status....You werent denied so I would be patient and wait for the Name checks(AP) to be completed....inshaAllah...you will recieve your visa.

Did they ask about your brother specificly??

How do they know about him??

No they did not ask , but im sure my brothers name should be some where in the egyptian police records, just they do this procedure with anyone growing beard based on religious reasons here in egypt.

Your brother's beard should not appear on YOUR police record...maybe on his, but not yours.

MANY Egyptians spend many months in AP/AR so I wouldn't blame it on your brother.

This is a good time for patience and spending quality time with your family and friends before you leave to come to the US!

Good luck!

Salam ,

i dont blame it on my brother dear , it was all about sharing experiences , and elhamdlelah im patient , and i believe i ill get it in time. otherwise its less pressure on me that my wife does not have any problem staying or even living in egypt . , just missing her makes me talk a bit much .

good luck for all , and thanks a lot
