Any June Filers without NOA1

Hello everybody!

The last 25 days may have been the longest of my life. We sent our I-129F form to VSC on 6/12 and have not received any notification whatsoever. Just about every timeline I have viewed has a NOA1 date already. CONGRATS for that milestone all of you!! I'm going to start calling the USCIS toll free number tomorrow. I just can't imagine what is taking VSC so long. Is anybody else still waiting from June or prior to June? Has anybody else waited 3+ weeks without any notification? What could have happened to our petition? Please reply if anyone knows what could have happened or if this is normal.

My fiance filed the petition last June 27, its been 10 days though i think we need to wait more days since the timeline is 2 weeks for NOA 1. But in your case is already 25 days. i hope you will get your NOA 1 soon.........

Our application was received at Vermont on the 30th June, we had notification that he check was cashed on the 3rd July and received the NOA1 in the mail on the 5th July, a lot quicker than I expected.

Lets hope we all have a fast smooth journey!!!!

We have the UPS receipt that the package was received on 6/13 and that is it. Our check wasn't cashed and we have not received any notice of any kind. We're at 26 days, I'm calling USCIS now to see if they will give me an answer or if I have to wait until Thursday. I'll let everbody know what happens. I just got off the phone with USCIS. First and foremost they told me they received our petition and it is in process!! However they couldn't tell me why I didn't get a letter or why they didn't cash my check. One note on calling USCIS; the recording states a customer must wait 4 weeks before calling but the customer service reps are told we must wait 31 days. I diplomatically argued that the message states 4 weeks and thus my call should be taken. Honestly I waited 26 days. The rep asked her supervisor who agreed with me and I was passed on to an immigration officer. I have my receipt number and our journey continues! Hopefully things go smooth now for us and everyone else here.

Nate and Daisy may i ask what check did you use? My fiance used cashiers check and he tried to call the bank many time but until now the bank said the check is not yet clear.

Hi Chadherm,

We also used a bank, cashiers check. I called the bank daily starting 10 days after I sent our I-129F petition. They still claim that the check has not been cashed but USCIS said they did. It appears that using personal checks are a much better way to go. Also I have never received our NOA1 letter from VSC. I called the toll free number on the 26th day to get the status verbally.

yes i think we need to call USCIS about this. Until now our check is not encash too. It almost 2 weeks. If we know that personal check works faster than cashiers check ,we will send personal check. We will knock knock their door

Definitely call USCIS today. Its been 4 weeks so you have every right to ask for your Application Receipt Number (begins with WAC for California). They will ask you to verify the Petitioners name, address, date of birth, etc. Once the customer service rep knows you are the petitioner they will send you to an immigration officer to help you further. Let them know you sent your application in 4 weeks ago and he/she will give you your Application Receipt Number. Then you can log into the USCIS site and begin tracking touches, etc.

We called them and they have no idea where our application is, nor d they have a receipt number. The lady said she'd get back to us on Monday :/
