Hey guys, I'm just new here in Visa Journey, just someone told me about this site. I've been married for almost 2 yrs and I just got here in USA last week. Now, I just want help from you guys on what will be my first step to file papers here. Some says SSN first and some says you can't so SSN if you don't file for AOS first. So, hope you can help me guys. Thanks so much.

God bless.

Are you a K-3?

You cannot file for a SSN if you are NOT work authorized. As a K-3 you are not work authorized until either AOS or EAD has been applied for and received.

So it means, I can file for the AOS and EAD at this time? I just got here last week.
