Hi all

we're new here & to the immigration process, but at the end of ours thankfully - wish we'd discovered you all a lot earlier! We have our Cr-1 now. When we apply for the conditional restrictions (2 years) to be taken off, is that an AOS? And how do we do that? Do I have to come back to the UK to change the CR to an IR?

Your advice is appreciated

It is called lifting conditions and is done via an I-751 and is done from within the USA

YMMV
