7 months and no word

Hi, we sent the adjustment of status forms off in November and then had to resend a couple of things in December. I went for biometrics in December and have my employment authorization but no word of the interview. It has been 7 months now.

Has anyone else had to wait so long?

Hi Linzee,

I am sure it will happen for you - have you registered for regular update on the USCIS site?...though that too can be a little hit and miss - you can also check with your local field office to see what applications they currently say they are working on.

My aos went in october 2007 - and like you the ead came pretty quickly after biometrics - but the interview wasnt until June 2008 - so hang in there - it is going to happen !

Yeah, I waited 11 months before I got anything.

Check the processing times on USCIS website to get an idea of your process https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/ptimes.jsp

It can take a while or be quick, it's hard to tell.

If you are worried about your case you can either call the misinformation line or get an infopass appointment.
