i thought after a festive weekend and some good rest USCIS would could out today in full force with approvals. last week was a very slow week for approvals, this week look the same, i guess they kick us to the curb for N-400, every vote counts for this upcoming election.

IR1/CR1's coming out of Jamaica right now seem overly slow. In fact, approvals of any kind out of Jamaica seem to be slowing down at this point.

True....a freind of mine wants to get vistors visas for her two kids (both toddlers) and they have to wait till december for the earliest interview date....madness!

07-22-2013: Application sent (Delivered: 07-24-13)
08-05-2013: NOA1 received (Priority date: 07-24-13, Check cashed: 07-29-13)
08-22-2013: Biometrics (Received: 08-06-13, Walk-in: 08-08-13)
09-03-2013: Inline for interview (Yellow letter received: 10-23-13)
11-04-2013: Interview scheduled (Received: 11-09-13)
12-12-2013: Interview (Approved)
01-03-2014: Oath ceremony, passport application and passport received

No, no, no!

I applied for a new passport at the same time I submitted my I-130... I got my new passport today and still no NOA1!!!! Dept of State is moving VERY fast and USCIS is moving very slow!

CR1 Visa Journey

Met in Tryall 6/23/07

Married in Tryall 6/14/08

USCIS

06-28-2008: submitted I-130

07-09-2008: Check Cashed

07-11-2008: NOA1

07-16-2008 submitted I-129

07-28-2008 NOA1 for I-129

08-01-2008 I-129 touched!

08-03-2008 I-129 touched again!

09-05-2008 I-130 touched.... please, please, please... oh, please let them approve it.

09-06-2008: NOA2!!!!!!!

NVC

10-03-2008: Package forwarded to NVC

11-01-2008: COA mailed

10-23-2008: Paid AOS Bill (online)

11-03-2008: Paid IV Bill (online)

11-06-2008: Mailed I-864 and DS230 packets

11-18-2008: Case Complete

02-26-2009: Medical Exam

03-10-2009: Interview

From what I see on a lot of peoples timelines it takes about 2 weeks to get the hardcopy NOA1. It'll probably have a date on it that's a few days back from when you recieve it.

You have to give them a few extra days for the holidays as well. They're probably still full from all the food. :lol:
