I have searched the forums and didn't see anything and I am sure this has been asked before so please accept my apologies if this has been discussed before.

My fiance lives in England and I live in the US and his medical is July 18th. I thought I read somewhere he could wait and get the vaccinations when he enters the US. The reason I am asking is because of cost. It would be cheaper here but we don't want to do anything that would delay the issue of the visa. So should he go ahead and get the vaccinations in England or can he wait until he moves here?

Thanks!

Your fiance is not required to have the shots in UK since he is a K1 applicant. You can do the missing vaccinations in the US prior to filing for his AOS. It is wise for him to bring all his vaccionations records from home to make the process easier, though. Best of luck to both of you!!!

Hi,

I'm in a reverse position: my fiancee is in the US and I'm going to join him. So, back to the point. Well I had the embassy required medical and was told they could give me the vaccinations there or I could use my own GP or wait until I entered America. Now, some of the vaccinations are free here and others you have to pay for. I need 6, 3 of them can be combined so I'm going to check out how long they will take to administer as I'm due to leave in a few months.
