I'm hoping to send my completed I-129f packet out this week. I currently live with in Morocco with my fiance, who's Moroccan, and we plan to marry, god-willing, soon after my return to the US. I'm American, here until December on a research grant.

Since we live together and are in constant daily contact, I've been having trouble thinking of what, other than photos, to use as evidence of our relationship. We don't really call or e-mail each other very often; we live in a very small town, and even if we're not at home together we inevitably run into one another when we're out. Since we met in Morocco seven months ago and continue to be a part of each other's daily routine, at this point it's not really unnecessary for us to use methods of communication outside good ole face-to-face.

My mom came to see here us a few months ago and she and my fiance continue to keep up a really wonderful e-mail correspondence. My question is whether or not this might be evidence of our valid on-going relationship, and whether it might be acceptable to include some of their messages back and forth to one another as part of the I-129f pack. They sometimes discuss my relationship with my fiance. It's not direct communication between my fiance and I, but my idea is that it shows that our relationship is continuous and that--if this is important--we are becoming part of each other's families.

What do you guys think? Can I use e-mails between my fiance and my mom as evidence of an ongoing relationship between he and I, when I petition for a K-1 visa?

Hope you're all well, visajourney.com is a fantastic community.

You can but you don't need any of that when you file your petition. Your best possible evidence of a bona fide ongoing relationship is that you live together for all this time. Concentrate on providing evidence of that at the interview.

At this point evidence of on-going relationship is not needed. All USCIS has to know right now is the fact that you and your fiance have met in person in the last two years. So be sure to present some evidence of being at the same time & place together. Mind that photos are secondary evidence and have to be supported by boarding passes, travel receipts, etc. If you can prove current residence at the same place with some legal paperwork - great! If not, your boarding pass to Marrocco or copy of your visa/stamp should work. Good luck to both of you!
