What to say to the one person who has calmed my nerves about AP more than once?

I am truely sorry that you have had an upset with the embassy again. But as many have stated before me there is a bright side, a light at the end of the long dark tunnel. Look forward to August 10th because I am sure your going to have great news!

Tammy,

Do not regret your words. You are sharing your frustrations and those of us who have been there can understand.

This is progress. Not as much as you want and desire, but at least they are looking at your case.

Not sure what day in August the medical expires. In our situation, my finance (now husband) was at the consulate (after 11 months of AR) 10 days before the medical expired and they said, if you can get to the US before that expire day, we'll grant the visa. You may not have the same experience, but maybe. However, it is probably more likely that you will need to redo the medical, possibly a new local police report and your 2007 tax return.

Hugs and strength!!!

Hello all,

Thank you for every post and suggestion.

Number 1, I am feeling better from that day and praying I will have the strength to go on every day.

No - cannot redo the medical as in Bangladesh, you must present the paper issued by doctor to get that check up.

For all you who Pm'ed me, this is, this is not a denial I am speaking of and the just the very word makes me go into a bad state of mind. This is an update from the embassy after 10 months of AP to submit passport and say they will make a decision on August, 1st-2nd weeks. Then they may ask for medical to be redone and whatever else is needed.

God-willing, this visit will be one of the last visits to the embassy and my husband will be issued visa.

Good wishes to everyone person waiting.

Tammy

Tammy,

You have inspired me. We have not been on AP nearly as long as you and your husband. I have read your posts about AP and your wait over the course of months and I must say..... I pray I can follow your lead and remember everything I have to be grateful for when I get so frustrated I could just scream! I'm sorry you are going thru this but I have no doubt that your husband will be getting the visa soon.

hugs,

tess
