Hi! Hope your fiance' can send/email the needed documents ASAP so you can have your visa real soon.

Yea he just took half an hour off work right now, to go home and get the 1040 so he can email it ASAP. I'm not as nervous as I was before, since the consul told me that everything was ok and they'd issue the visa when they get that document (he even said congratulations), but I wont be 100% relaxed until I get they actually issue my visa.

Time to go check out the beach now... I was so nervous yesterday I didnt even do anything here in Rio... and the weather is soooo perfect!

Well, congratulations to all who've made it through so far!

I'm going to collect my passport, clean police record and do my medical all on Friday; I just hope I can wake up in time to do all that! Hahaha! Actually, I was just wondering; what do I answer on the DS-156 when it asks how long I intend to stay in the U.S.? Sounds like a loaded question to me, but I'd like some help.

Packet 3 is going out today :)

Beta,

Congrats!!! I hope your fiance can submit what they need asap and that 221(g) does sound so scary. I hope they can give you visa soon!

I've just checked USE-SG web site it didn't show the instruction guide there and I'm not able to answer your question. For USE-HK we need to submit DS-156 with DS-230. They should have an instruction guide with your packet 3. Please read it carefully and I will try to look around for anyone who filed in SG for u.

hey guys! a friend gave this link to me... i hope this will all of us. she told me to pass it on so i could share it to everybbody who will undergo an interview. ------>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> http://www.fiddlers.us/questions/

Hi Angel0482!

Goodluck for tomorrows interview.

Hi! Amy! Thank you again..

Anyway, I just got home last night from Manila. Had my interview. Thank God it went really good. I was so lucky to have a very nice consul. She didn't hold me that long. In fact she didn't even ask me any evidences anymore. In fact, the pre-screener are the strict ones than the consul I was assigned to. She just asked me very basic questions. Just a yes and a no answers mostly. But I was freezing cold while waiting outside the consul's booth. And it caused me to get nervous because of that. Lol! But when i came inside. She was very nice. Greeted me warmly and asked me to sit down. Asked me questions every nwo and then while she checked my documents. I was hoping she owuld asked me for evidences because I was ready for it and I made a lot of effort preparing all that. Lol! But to my surprise she just asked me questions. Only the i-134 affidavit of support and my fiance's w2 and tax transcript were asked by pre-screener. And also my pictures. She selected few of my pictures. She didn't bring all my 100 pieces pictures to the consuls. Lol! The pre-screener I was assigned to complains a lot. Like she said I brought to many pictures and why my fiance doesn't have much assets. I talked to my fiance about it and he said that she doesn't have the right to complain at all. Or say those negatives words. But nevertheless, I ignored her.

When I got in to the consul's booth. I saw her eyes getting big when she saw all my documents on my transparent bag. Lol! It was so heavy and my shoulder is aching until now. But it was worth bringing all of it. At least I was ready to had everything to her. I could still recall when she told me that, "Now, okay, I am going to approve your visa and you may sit down outside while your name will be called from window 37 or 38". I was like, I couldn't believe what I am hearnig that time. I thank her and i went outside to wait for my name to be called. I couldn't stopped myself from smiling when I got out from the consul's booth.

I am so thankful for my VJ family who went all the way with me. It was a really long journey we traveled together and here we are. Getting all the good news. So to all who are still on the process. Please hang on. You're almost there.
