Do not rely on there E Mail They do not use it for notification My file had shown that it had been touched on 08/07, not that it was approved If you show a touch, you better be checking your regular mail everyday Best of luck to everyone and may your approvals be fsat

Heather, this is the hardest part, the waiting game Your time will soon happen and when it does, it will come unexpectedly and you will shout and dance for joy My NOA2 was approved on the 7th of August and I did not know it till arrival in the mail on the 16th of August I had signed up for the E mail notification and received nothing I have gotten past my anger with CSC and am only thankful for the approval so that Oksana is a day closer to coming home I think most April filers will all be happy before the end of the month of August

I've actually moved backwards on Igor's list, from 59th to 60th. Obviously another March/April filer just updated their time line for the first time, but all of this obsessive checking of emails, mail boxes and USCIS status pages has me questioning my sanity. I think I might actually be moving towards borderline Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. I'm going to stop this OCD behavior and schedule a flight back to Cambodia where I can wait in the company of my loved ones. Being separated from my family at the whims of some lazy government hacks is something I'm no longer willing to endure.

I can work remotely, and with Fedex at my disposal, do I even need to be present in California to finish this process? I'm keeping my house in San Francisco and I can have a relative forward any mail that comes. At least I can be with my wife and son when we finally fly to SFO.

I asked myself the same question about a month ago-just live with Jimmy in Australia on a 3-month Visa until there is some sign of approval. My only roadblock on that was when it would be time to do the "Affadavit of Support", I would be out of a job, which also meant no supporting docs to show I have income in America (my assets are decent, but wouldn't be up to par with the guideline)

I'm not the expert, but I think you should be okay if you took an extended "holiday" over there-once the NOA2 arrives, it's more in your fiance's court now to do the paperwork and what not so I don't think it's a necessity to stay in CA. I see a lot of posts where the fiance was present for the interview and such, so why wouldn't you be able to if you know you can still work, assets, etc...good luck! Btw I'm wondering if any of you guys have any plan for the wedding yet? Are you guys gonna bring your gowns to US? Will u guys have a banquet in our own country first or gonna your family to US for the ceremony? Lets talk about something happy and exciting when we're waiting for this long waiting process !!

Ive already got my bridesmaids, briesmaid dresses, gown , venue, dj, photographer, menu..all that lacks is the visa heheh.

My close family and friends are coming over to usa but obviously its not a lot (say about 12) beacuse of the expense! Im puttin 2 weeks aside b4 i leave the UK to go around and say bye to people ect...kind of have a long party over a 2 week period heheh.

Has anyone else seen this too?? if they are still there, tell me, so I know I can go check into a clinic for the MENTALLY UNSTABLE (HUGE LOL!!!!!!!!)

hello april filers, one may filer just poping into see how you all are?

they removed the noa2 and went bk to the waiting list behind us, after i messaged them with congradultions and asked whether it was expidite or normal. must have benn just messing around with their timeline and igors picked it up. so no you are not going crazy.

hope those still waiting get their noa2s soon, :thumbs:

I didn't see a May filer either, I am still stuck at 90-been there for at least three days!!!

I am back in America now, without my fiance, waiting for some movement at the CSC. It seems like since the beginning of August, CSC has slowed to a bloody halt

Cloe, no change since your touch? I know you will be one of our next ones, we just need those suckas at the CSC to get off their butts! I'll be waiting for an approval notice from you! Good luck to everyone else (including myself ha ha!)

Hello guys!! Yes, I did saw that May filer approved, but in few hours checking back ( I still do check, LOL) it wasn't there anymore. At first, I already thought of it as someone messing around since the profile was a newbie. Past week seem a slow approval for CSC or just some don't update their timelines as they get approved. let'shope and see this week.

For the good news, our case was sent by NVC last August 18, seem we're lucky on 8s. Should I call the consulate on the 28th to schedule an interview? Ohh, that's my grandma's birthday again! Just how our NOA2 coincided with my father's bday.

My thoughts are with those on the wait. For April filers, I know how it feels but I think it isn't time to be sad yet. August is still on its way. Good luck guys and YES! let's keep this thread alive!!!]

Thanks Heather... yes we need all the luck in this world... Is there a Holiday this week aside from labor day on Sept. 1? Why did they stopped working on our cases? yaaayyyy!

Thanks for informing us about this Hanna+Vito... Sorry I was not sad knowing there was a May filer approved haha, I was happy of course but felt a little sad knowing we were left out here... I'm hoping CSC will rush things up and work on you guys... Good luck!

My case was touched for the first time last Wed (8-13), but nothing yet. Actually I got a letter from my Congressman yesterday saying he checked on the status for me and "according to USCIS, they are now processing applications from 01-17 and before" blah blah.....yeah, yeah, I already knew that. That wasn't what I contacted him about..

So now I wonder is that's why it was "touched". Sheesh.

But I'm still hopeful and eagerly waiting for the end of the workday to check my mailbox! Too bad I work until 9 tonight
