Yes sometimes they didn't even have the right information on the status. Just like our case, we are still on pending on the USCIS web site but our case is already sent to the US embassy in HK! So check your mail box cuz it may surprise you!! From your timeline you filed earlier than me, I'm sure you can hear from them very soon!! Can't wait to give u big congrats real soon!

Hi everyone!

I am in sunny Australia, FINALLY with my fiance! So happy! :D

Glo, it's driving me mad that since I'm out of the country, I can't check my snail mail every day for the NOA2. I know that, with your case, it STILL shows as pending!!! I was wondering, have you tried calling for your case status on the 800-number they give you and if so, is it still pending there as well? I figured if they updated that it would be my best shot at checking to see if we were approved or not while I am away......

Hi Heather! I'm so jealous that you are in sunny Australia! In HK we have such a horrible heavy raining for few days. I wish I can see the sun soon!

No I never tried to call 800-number to see if my case is pending or not. But I've called NVC and tried to track my case and in the automated system it said they dun have my case record too!! So I had to get ahold of the operator and they finally told me that my case has been forwarded to HK already. It seems like my case is invisible for all of their system huh?! But whatever as long as my case is in HK then I'm fine. Does anyone know if I have to deal with this system again after married? Do I need to inform them and asked them to correct my status in USCIS? :innocent:

:lol: Actually, I started counting from the time the NOA1 hard copy was on hand, not from the date on the NOA1 copy. To sum it up, 117 days. Yes, we still broke your record, yours is 119 days? :lol: That's fine, 2 days isn't bad, haha.

Still waiting . .. and waiting.. (NOA1 rec'd on April 10). Today is the deadline for a decision based on our timeline..mm.

I'm sorry to hear that... What should be done if you have not received NOA2 for so long? I know it is so frustrating and we just can't do anything but waitt....

Just an inspiring thought for you all of us who's waiting...

Everyday there's a big surprise awaits us, that's why I am always excited for tomorrow... Who knows... tomorrow might be that special day we are all been waiting for... SMILE :)

I can't believe this! we got touched August 6!

Just after replying and crcking a joke of checking USCIS, it was for real that we got touched :rofl: I wanna shout with happiness but our neighbors might get awakened, haha! Well, either it's an RFE I would still appreciate it coz that would mean our papers are on the move!!! I don't wanna expect much on this, but am keeping the faith to HIM for an approval.

We have not received approval yet, but my file was TOUCHED for the first time August 7th :dance::dance::dance:

Maybe this is a good omen :wow: I have not yet told Oksana the wonderful news and will only tell her when we have received approval. She would not understand the touch process anyway :blink: But she will understand approval :thumbs:
