I made an inquiry to the Delbros thru their text hotline if the verification transaction of my documents to the NSO was already done. I paid my document verification almost a month before my interview appointment. However, I did not receive any reply from Delbros. How will I know about the result of that transaction? How will I know if Delbros did their task? I have no reply from them. I understand that the result of document transaction is necessary before my visa will be released.

Hi sis & to all the VJ members who's reading this...! i don't have any answer with ur questions, but since i'm still waiting for our interview sched (with my son), i wanna know what's with the document verification ba? may kulang ba sa papers mo? i just wanna know coz we might have the same problems during the interview, so i can prepare na. in my case kasi, the NSO copy of my birth cert.is very dirty, as in madumi ang copy that u can hardly read some of the data.according to them wala daw silang magagawa since, yun na ang naka save sa system nila, what i did was, i got a copy my birth. cert. from the CIvil Registrar's office & attached it w/ the NSO's copy, coz this is what i did w/ the DFA when i had my passport & likewise with the NVC together w/ my DS -230 form...do u think would this be okey?

On your interview, the prescreener will take your birth certificate from NSO, Certificate of No Marriage and NBI together with your proofs/evidences of your relationship. As I understand, the USEM will determine if our documents submitted to them are genuine and this is done in NSO which is the office that provided us the documents. The Delbros is the agency that facilitate the transaction. I learned that some members here in VJ, their visas were not delivered on time as expected due to that reason (no result yet of the document verification from the NSO).

With regards to the completeness of your documents, just refer from the website of US Embassy Manila list of requirements for the interview, to be sure. Good luck on your interview!

Hi there,

That is an excellent idea so the one who will examine your birth certificate can compare the 2 copies of this document, the one NSO-authenticated & the other one in LCR copy. Anyway, the birth certificate printed out in security paper from NSO is taken from the scanned birth certificate from your Local Civil Registrar's office, so both the documents are the same except that they put document ID on the authenticated one. Maybe at the time your BC was scanned it wasn't done properly so you got hardly readable output.Hope soon you'll have your interview schedule. Goodluck!

We're in the same boat. I had my interview lasy July 1, but the visa was on hold because of the document verification. I paid my DV 3 weeks prior to my interview date. After I paid for my DV last Jun 6, I texted Delbros, they replied that they acknowledge the receipt of my payment from Metrobank.

I was advised by VJ friends that the next thing we can do to follow up our case is to call USEM. Here's the number 02-3012000 loc 5184, look for Grace. It is better if you ask your petitioner to call them. People at USEM are more accomodating to USC's. Goodluck! Keep us posted.

Oh..so I am not alone. I did receive an acknowledgment from delbros after I paid the DV.

I presumed that the document verification was already done because I paid it almost a month before my interview appointment. The 7-10 days for the delivery of my visa which the delbros told me will due this week. We will resort of contacting that number if there's no news from delbros.

Thanks for that info chris-lei.

Hi GorgeousGirl!

I'm sorry I don't have any idea about M.I. pending. What I knew is the pink slip which is commonly known as equivalent to many as "you're visa application was approved". I think if you got that pink slip, you don't have anything to worry. For as long as the Consulate Officer did not tell you that there are discrepancies of your documents, there is nothing to worry about it...You just wait till you hear them....that your visa will be delivered soon. So, cheer up!!!:star:
