Just found out that my middle name is typed as "reta" instead of "rate" on the first page.

We have no more time to get a new one.

Will it pose a problem? :help:

You dont have any time, you're interview will be on Monday. You may tell the prescreener that there's a typo error. Anyway, it's just your middle name, not the first and last name. Maybe they will accept it. Just pray that they will not give you a hard time. Goodluck and God bless you on your interview. Keep us posted!

Hi there,

I had a similar concern with the I-134 form before the interview except that my petitioner's birth date was typed incorrectly on page 1 of the form. What I did was print out the first page of the I-134 with the corrected entry and staple it back to the rest of the pages. Anyway, the notarization & signature is on the second page so there's no problem with it. I came up with the idea one day before my interview & it worked!

No worries!

This is minor and should not be a problem at all. What would be a problem is if your name was mistyped on your visa. Just for peace of mind take Chris-Lei's advice and/or inform the CO during the visa interview (my recomendation).

Let me be the first to congradulate you on your upcoming successful visa interview.

Cheers!!!

Like what others have said, it should not pose a problem... my daughter's name was mis-spelled in the I-129F. We only found out when we called to set interview sched. I called embassy and they told me that they will just take it as typo error and that they will also be checking other supporting documents anyway. True enough, it was never and issue and we got the visa with my daugther's name already corrected.

You will be fine. Good success to you and the kids.:thumbs::thumbs:

If mistake is on the first page just retype it online and print it out if the original was done that way.
